Considering its half-life, the 236U concentration should be negligible today. Neutron capture alone on 235U does not explain this value. It is therefore necessary to consider another 236U formation path. The analysis of the results from the MENDEL calculations allows us to wonder about the radioactive decay of 244Pu. Confirmation of this point could be interesting for pollution studies in natural environments.
