Change of Submission System: MMS to NESTOR Key Information

We are pleased to announce that in response to the changing landscape of academic publishing, EPJ N has migrated submission systems from MMS to NESTOR (New Editorial System Tool for Research)—a platform designed and developed by EDP Sciences.

The entire team at EPJ N - an open access journal edited in partnership with the Sfen (French Nuclear Energy Society) and the ENS (European Nuclear Society) - are committed to developing a positive author experience while maintaining the highest levels of academic rigour. They recently made updates to the ethical standards for authors, working to clarify expectations of authors to ensure only the highest quality papers are published, and the transition to NESTOR marks another step in this continuous improvement process.

NESTOR offers an enhanced user experience, with advanced features, improved security, and an intuitive user interface tailored for authors, referees, and editors. This bespoke functionality, built with EDP’s own research community in mind, aims to improve the user experience from submission to publication.

The new, more streamlined, system will also improve efficiency and quality of the peer review process, helping to further build the journal’s reputation as a go-to reference in the Nuclear Sciences & Technologies discipline.
