EPJ Nuclear Sciences & Technologies (EPJ N) is pleased to announce substantial increases in both its Impact Factor and CiteScore rankings, reflecting the journal's growing influence in the field of nuclear technology.
The 2025 Impact Factor (2026 Journal Citation Reports™) for EPJ N is 2.1, representing a remarkable 23.5% increase from last year. EPJ N is ranked Q2 in NUCLEAR SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY (ESCI edition of Web of Science).
The journal's CiteScore has also risen significantly, from 1.9 (2024 Citescore, Clarivate 2025) to 2.5 in the 2026 report, underscoring the increasing visibility and citation impact of research published in the journal.
These improvements demonstrate the trust placed in EPJ N by the nuclear science and engineering community and is due to the excellent work of our Editors-in-Chiefs, Associate Editors and Reviewers.
