New Editor-in-Chief for EPJ Nuclear Sciences & Technologies

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Dr. Abdallah Lyoussi as the new Editr-in-Chief of EPJ Nuclear Sciences & Technologies (EPJN).
Professor Lyoussi is a physicist specializing in experimental nuclear physics and currently serves as Senior Fellow and Research Director at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). He is also Professor at the French Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology (INSTN) and at Aix-Marseille University. His scientific expertise and long-standing involvement in nuclear research and education make him particularly well suited to guide the journal’s development.
Professor Lyoussi will work alongside Dr. Cyrille De Saint Jean, who has served as Editor-in-Chief of EPJN for many years and will continue his editorial responsibilities, ensuring continuity and stability in the journal’s leadership.
Dr. De Saint Jean is a Supélec engineer and holds a PhD in particle physics. He has been with the CEA since 1997, where he has held several senior positions, including Head of Laboratory and Head of Department, before becoming a Programme Manager. He is also a CEA Senior Fellow in nuclear physics and has played a key role in the sustained development and scientific quality of EPJN.
