Evolution of the CROCUS system from a critical state (H₁) to a super critical configuration (H₂), which is kept for one minute before going back to criticality. The results of the kinetic simulation with TRIPOLI-4 are compared with the behavior predicted by the point-kinetics equation, using the static reactivity ρ_k = 1/k_critical − 1/k_perturbed and the k-adjoint weighted kinetics parameters (green) but also the dynamic reactivity ρ_α and the α-adjoint weighted kinetics parameters (red).
