Laboratory rapidity distribution of pions, kaons, protons and deuterons for 14.6 GeV/c protons on Aluminum. Please note the long energy/rapidity tail of deuterons which extends well beyond the evaporation range and which is nicely reproduced by the coalescence mechanism.
